The top box "Submit a Website or Webpage" is for search engine submission purposes. You can use this if you want to submit your website to the Yahoo search engine. The Second Box "Submit Site Feed" is for you to submit your newly created Yahoo Sitemap. So type your address in the second box and click on the Submit Feed Button...
Once you have pressed the "Submit Feed" button you will come to a screen like this...
WELL DONE!!! YOU HAVE JUST SUBMITTED YOUR FIRST YAHOO SITEMAP!!! Optional - You can also authenticate your site by clicking on the "authenticate" Button (greenish colour) in the top right hand corner. you will then be taken to another screen that looks like this...
Okay you now have two options available to authenticate your website. You can either add a meta tag code to your homepage or you can download a verification file to your website. ( I am choosing this option) You can click on the "download" button to download this file which has been automatically created for you. Once you have downloaded this file, you can then upload to your website and click on the "Ready to Authenticate" Button.
